Ferrari 330 GT 2 +2 250 GT



Presented at the Hall of Brucella in 1964 as a replacement for the Ferrari 250 GT 2 +2. While this line of Ferrari 330 came for the first time in the tracks a year earlier, it was not until 1964 when the first street versions.

This model 330 GT 2 +2 was designed by Paninfarina studies as a replacement for the old model Ferrari 250 GT 2 +2, calling the first 330 "America." Which really was a model 250 GT redesigned with larger engine. Then came the 330 GT 2 +2 which occurred between 1964 and 1967.

The Ferrari 330 GT was a car truly unique because it seamlessly share design elements from other cars as with the models Ferrari 330 GTC and Ferrari 330 GTS, which had the same chassis as the Model 275.

All used Ferrari 330 V12 engines which were designed by Colombo and the Ferrari 400 which Revenio Supremacy, but now has been optimized. One of the biggest changes was the replacement of the alternator to an alternator.

In 1965 Ferrari introduced the 330 GT Series II, which was equipped with a new five-speed manual transmission, air conditioning and power steering. Another customer innovations were offered optional alloy wheels.

The Ferrari 330 GT 2 +2 had a total production of 1,080 units, with 628 of the series one. It should be noted that these 628 specimens, 128 were called "Interium" because they shared elements of both series one and series two. The remaining 460 belonged the number two.
